*Girls Save The World* is a leadership and sustainability program designed for middle and high school girls. Through hands-on challenges, mentorship, and teamwork, participants learn how to turn bold ideas into real-world solutions for climate, food, and community impact.

Yes. All sessions are led by vetted facilitators with expertise in youth leadership and education. Interactive online sessions follow strict safety guidelines, and every activity is structured for a positive and secure experience.

The program runs for 12 weeks with: - One live session per week/session (60 minutes) - Self-paced activities (1 hour weekly) - Optional team collaboration time

Most participants spend 1-2 hours per week.

There will be a mandatory 2-onsite Prototyping Session.  These are full day sessions that expand the immersive experience.  The dates (November & March) will be announced late September.  

Absolutely! Students from outside the DFW area are welcome. We’ll place them in virtual groups with peers, and they’ll receive a Zoom link to join Prototype Day(s) so they can participate fully alongside the other teams.

That’s exactly why this program exists. Leadership is more than speaking up—it can be creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, or quiet confidence. *Girls Save The World* helps every girl find her unique leadership voice.

Yes. Collaboration is at the heart of the program. Students work in teams, present ideas, and build meaningful connections with peers who share the same passion for making a difference.

The Program will start October 7, 2025 (Parent/Student Information Session) with the first program date starting October 14, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. for the Fall Session.  All leadership sessions will be held virtually - with short assessments completed through Kajabi.  Calendar invites will be sent for all sessions.  

The Fall Sessions are as follows:

• 10/7/25 – Kickoff & Parent Session (Log on, complete tasks, create Congressional Award registration, complete assessment)

• 10/14/25 – First Virtual Session (6:30 p.m. - 7:15 p.m.

• 10/21, 10/29, 11/5, 11/12 – Weekly Virtual Sessions (6:30 p.m. - 7:15 p.m.)

• 11/9/25 – Onsite Prototype Day (Full-day event, location TBA:  9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.)

Prototypes will be held in November and March.

Yes! We welcome parents and community members who want to support our girls as mentors, guest speakers, or volunteers. To ensure a safe environment, all adult volunteers are required to complete a background check before participation.
